Digital Pickleball Tournament
Where Champions Play.
Where Tech Dominates.

๐Ÿ”ฅRise to be the National Champion in AI, HCI, and BCI๐Ÿ”ฅ

About

dPickleball empowers university and college students from Malaysia to embrace problem-solving, compete for excellence, and ignite their passion for programming, AI, data science, and biomedical innovation through technology-driven competition. We connect bright minds and cultivate the next generation of tech talent, shaping the future of innovation-all while competing for a prestigious championship trophy and a total cash prize of up to RM10,000 ๐Ÿ† With three thrilling categories:

(A) AI vs. AI

Participants develop AI-driven agents to compete in digital pickleball matches. Teams design and train machine learning models, reinforcement learning agents, or rule-based algorithms to strategize, predict movements, and outperform opposing AIs in a fully simulated environment. This challenges students to push the limits of AI strategy, optimization, and real-time decision-making.

(B) HCI vs. HCI

This category focuses on Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) by using motion tracking, pose estimation, and biomechanics to control gameplay. Competitors develop systems that analyze human body movements captured via camera-based pose estimation or motion sensors to interact with the game. The goal is to create the most accurate, responsive, and intuitive pickleball-playing system.

(C) BCI vs. BCI

The most futuristic category, Brain-Computer Interface (BCI), challenges students to control the game using neural signals (EEG). Competitors design brain-controlled interfaces that translate thoughts or mental commands into in-game actions. This pushes the boundaries of neuroscience, AI, and real-time signal processing, creating an innovative space where mindpower meets competition.
